It all began with a conversation between a couple of event guys wondering what to do this summer with a stellar location along the Willamette River overlooking the iconic Tilikum bridge. Ideas sparked like shards of light shimmering on a Disco Ball and voila.... The 'Bell Bottom Bash' was born!
Our mission is to create a definitive one-day event celebrating everything cool about the 1970's. Incredible LIVE acts and DJ's throughout the day at the funkiest music and fashion festival complete with throwback drinks and eats.

The Venue
The 'OMSI BRIDGE LOT' is one of the most unique event locations in the city. Situated on OMSI property, just south of the main building on two acres with stunning views of the Tilikum Crossing Bridge and Willamette River, the venue has played host to large scale events like OBTLIVE, KNRK Birthday Party, Hot Sauce Expo, Cinema Unbound Drive-in Movie Festival.
The space can accommodate up to 5,000 revelers. TriMet's Orange Line stops right at the front gate of the event space, as does the bike-friendly Spring Water Trail.
Watch throughout the evening as the bridge's lightscape, illuminated by 178 tower-mounted LEDs, transforms as the river's speed, depth and temperature changes. It's groovy stuff!

WHAT IS A COSBASH?
'Cos' is short for Costume, and well, 'bash'... is the party. Go all out from head to toe. We will be handing out prizes for those who 'bring the most funk.' (Stay tuned for links to our costume partners who can set you up with the look.)
WHAT IS THE ADDRESS TO THE BASH?
Venue location is at OMSI at the Bridge Lot location just south of the main building. Follow the crowd to the front gate.
DO I HAVE TO BE 21 TO GO?
Yes, The Bell Bottom Bash is a 21+ event. Make sure to bring your photo ID with proof of age or you will be denied entry.
WHAT TIME DOES THE PARTY START & END?
Doors open at 4PM and will end at approx. 11pm - Line up and Set times will be released soon.
CAN I BRING MY BACKPACK OR PURSE?
Small handbags, purses, and fanny packs not exceeding 8" x 10" will be permitted, as well as clear tote bags (including handbags and purses) that do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12". Oversized bags (backpacks, suitcases, beach bags, laptop bags, camera bags, etc.) and camelbacks will not be permitted. ALL PERSONS AND BAGS are subject to Safety Inspection upon entry. Absolutely no weapons or knives will be allowed regardless of permits to do so. Our security staff is trained and focused on maintaining the good times vibe for all in attendance.
CAN I LEAVE AND RE-ENTER THE EVENT?
RE-ENTRY IS NOT PERMITTED. Fortunately, the venue has plenty of space to roam, and we'll provide everything you'll need to enjoy yourself with cooling tents, bathrooms, food and drink. We've also designed the event for you to never want to leave!
SHOULD I ROLL SOLO?
Heck yeah you should and can! The Bell Bottom Bash is a community event, if you don't know someone on the way in, you will on the way out.
WILL THERE BE FOOD AND BEVERAGE?
Yup. Food trucks as well as fully stocked bars with beer, wine, cocktails as well as a great selection of NA bevs and some other surprise summer goodies.
CAN I SMOKE OR VAPE AT THE BASH?
And by smoke I'm sure you're asking about the MJ. Per the OLCC, recreational marijuana MAY NOT be sold or smoked in public. There will be smoking areas in the venue area, please be respectful to all.
CAN I BRING A PROFESSIONAL CAMERA?
Cell phone cameras are permitted, and we encourage you to take tons of photos and tag @bellbottombash on the IG. If you would like to roll with a more professional set-up, please contact us prior and we can arrange for a pass in exchange for photos and videos.
HOW SHOULD I GET THERE & BACK?
The venue is located on the MAX Orange Line as well as the Street Car as well as the Springwater Trail. Monitored bike racks will be available (bring your own lock.) We will also be releasing a limited amount of on-site parking spots as we get closer to the event.
IS THE BASH ACCESSIBLE TO PEOPLE OF ALL ABILITIES?
Yes, please check in with hosts at the entry should you have any additional requests.
